- Kate R Added February 15, 2018★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆What a joke. 1 star is the minimum unfortunately. Poor communication. Bad...NO.... appalling service. A lot of my belongings were damaged/broken. I was left interstate with no bed for 9 days (due to poor communication) with a child until they finally decided to deliver- but, left some of my belongings mixed up with someone else's and dropped it off a week later. My belongings were stored before being delivered and they have pulled items to pieces leaving me to try and put things back together- items that are not easy to reconstruct. Invited a random guy off the street to help them unload without asking me if it was ok for a stray to enter my home. I have a very big lamp that is missing it's shade as they decided to pull it apart and leave it in Geelong and promised 2 different dates to bring it up and it hasn't arrived! It's been 3 weeks and they do not respond to emails or text messages. Will be looking to report them to whomever the overseer is of this industry cause this is absolute BULLSHIT.
NEVER NEVER NEVER USE THEM IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR BELONGINGS.
And.. fyi.. they operate under Grovedale removals and Dolphin Removals. Avoid at all costs.
I have just lodged a claim through QCAT (vic-vcat) to get compensation for damages and missing item.

The removal was booked and paid for weeks in advance and an hour before pick up Dolphin Removals rang me to ask if I knew anyone that wanted a couple of hours work because they only had one removalist available. Not being able to find anyone they were adamant that one person could move all the furniture in a 4 bedroom house all by themselves. In the end I helped load and unload. Not very professional.
